Australia’s First Uranium Dividend
Northern Uranium Development N.L. and Uranium Mines N.L., which are to merge, are the first private enterprise to announce a dividend from uranium mining in Australia.
Both companies will pay a dividend of Is a 5s share, 20 per cent.
The companies are equal partners in United Uranium N.L., which operates uranium mines at Elsharana and Saddle Ridge, South Alligator River, Northern Territory. Each company shows a similar profit of about £230,000 from the share of the pitchblende production.
