DAZED WOMAN ON TRAIN
Man Arrested By Police (New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND. April 19. A constable helped a young woman, who was in a dazed condition, off the Wellington-Auck-land limited express at Ohakune early yesterday morning, and held for questioning a man who .had been sitting beside her. An arrest was later made. The express was held for more than an hour while a doctor in dress-ing-gown and pyjamas attended the woman. The doctor and police examined the contents of the man’s luggage. The Ohakune police were summoned by a who had been approached by another passenger in the carriage. The woman appeared to be unconscious when the constable entered the carriage to question the man sitting beside her. She walked dazedly and almost fell while being assisted from the train a few minutes later.
