BRITISH SHIP IN CANAL
Rec. 12.30 sun.) LONDON. April 19. The British - registered freighter West Breeze (BSM tons) today was the first British vessel to negotiate the Sues Canal since it was closed last October. The West Breeze, with a cargo of peanuts, en route from China to Rotterdam, paid transit tolls in Swiss franc, and was guided through the canal by an Italian pilot.
