ENGINEER KILLED AT ATIAMURI

A Dutch engineer was fatally injured in a fall at the Atiamuri hydro-electric project yesterday morning. He was: J. S. Gregorius, aged 35, married, with three children, of Mangakino, who has been in
New Zealand about six years. Mr Gregorius was standing on a concrete block near the spillway with another man when they were struck by a bucket of concrete travelling down a cableway. He fell ajjout 30 feet on to another concrete block, and suffered severe head injuries. His companion was knocked over, but did
not fall down the face of the block. The second man was taken to the Rotorua Hospital with minor injuries, and treated and discharged. Mr Gregorius was a graduate of the University of Delft, Holland, and received New Zealand registration as ,*n engineer last year.
