HOT MEALS FOR THE AGED

Methodist Service Begins Soon On April 29 the hot meal service for the aged organised by the Methodist Central Mission will begin and'eontinue throughout the winter. This was decided on Tuesday evening by the social service committee. Abo’ut 25 aged persons who live where there are no adequate cooking facilities are catered for by the service. They visit the mission on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays each week to be served with a two-course meal. This year 55 women from the Methodist Guilds and six cooks have offered to help run the service. A similar service which operates on Tuesdays and Fridays all the year round is organised by the Red Cross Society.
