Military Talks
(Rec. 11 p.m.) CANBERRA, March 9. Military planners of the SEATO powers today prepared to hand over to the Council of Ministers after what they described as “good progress” in preparing measures to counter any sudden Communist military attack. Military observers said that the meeting had converted wide concepts to detailed military plans. Progress had been reported in the fields of communication, logistics and training. An official communique at the close of the talks said that as many of future meetings as possible would be held at SEATO’s headquarters in . Bangkok. The military advisers’ meeting would be held in Bangkok in September.
