A Reader's salary range is £A2424-2824, and he is appointed to the permanent staff. The salary range for a Senior Fellow is determined within the limits £A2224-2674; and appointment is initially for five years. Thereafter, the appointment may be made permanent. Study leave entitlement for Readers and Senior Fellows is one year in six on full pay with grants towards the cost of such leave of £ABOO and £A7OO, respectively. The salaries for Senior Research Fellows and Research Fellows are within the ranges £A1924-2374 and £ A 1224-1824 respectively. In both cases' appointment is for three years, with possible extension to the maximum of five years. Superannuation on the F.S.S.U. pattern will be provided and reasonable travel expenses will be paid.
