DRUNKEN DRIVER GAOLED

SENT TO PRISON FOR TWO MONTHS

(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, Jan. 17.

On a charge of driving while under the influence of. drink, Gastavus Harold Kitchener Isaacs, aged 42, of Wellington, was sent to gaol for two months and his licence suspended for five years by Mr M. B. Scully, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court yesterday. Isaacs, who was represented by Mr D. K. Castle, pleaded not guilty. The police stated that Isaacs had two previous convictions, one for being in -charge of a car and another of driving a car, both while under the influence of drink.
