£10,500 Paid At Auction A 287 J acre Waipara farm was sold for £10,500 at auction in Christchurch yesterday. The propertv. which was owned by Mr E. Glennie, at present carries 350 ewes. It is also used for cropping, producing good yields of wheat, barley, small seeds and lucerne hay. , Buildings include a four-bed-room bungalow, a garage, cowbails and dairy, a shearing shed and a hay barn storing 1200 bales. It is subdivided into 12 paddocks. Bidding. which was brisk, opened at £7500 and rose by bids of £250 to £lO,OOO There were five more bids of £lOO.
