Fight For Mulcare
A Rockhampton (Queensland) Rugby League club which last year offered the New Zealand international forward Francis Mulcare £ 1000 to coach, announced this week that it would fight the New Zealand Rugby League to get Mulcare a clearance. Mulcare’s application to the League last year was refused. The Rockhampton club has announced that it will start an international fight to get a release for Mulcare and that it intends to approach the Australian, English and French Leagues for a ruling before sending a representative to New Zealand to argue the case.
