DEERSTALKER KILLED
Accidentally Shot By Companion
(New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, January 6.
A youth was accidentally shot dead by another member of a deer-shooting party when returning from bush country at Richmond Downs, near Walton, last evening. He was:—
Leslie Raymond Derecourt, aged 18. son of Mr and Mrs F. J. Derecourt, of Waitoa.
The body was carried to a car a mile away from the scene of the accident and taken to a nearby farmhouse. It was then taken to Te Aroha by St. John ambulance.
