BOXING
EUROPEAN BOXING TITLE (N Z. Press Association—Copyright) (Rec. 10 p.m.) MILAN, Dec. 27 Duilio Loi. of Italy, retained his European light-weight boxing title by outpointing Jose Hernandez, of Spain, in 15 rounds last night. It was Loi’s sixth defence of the title since he won it in 1954. There was very little action until Loi launched a fierce attack in the eleventh round, and kept it up for the rest of the fight. In the last round, Hernandez was caught repeatedly with lefts and rights to the face, and he could do little more than seek refuge in clinches
