U.N. Contracts Signed For Salvage Operations

JJ Nations Canal Salvage chief officer Lieutenant-General Raymond VV heeler, said last night: “I have signed contracts for two British, one trench and four German salvage ships for canal clearance.” He did not say what would happen to the rest of the British salvage vessels at Port Said. Mine-clearing operations on the canal continued yesterday, he reported.
