WORLD AFFAIRS
Sir.—ln view of the world chaos today I quote the words of our greatest statesman. Sir Winston Churchill: “Short of being actually conquered there is no worse evil than submitting to wrong or violence for fear of war. Once you take the position of not being able in any circumstances to defend your rights against the aggression of some particular set of people, there is no end to the demands that will be made or the humiliation that will be accepted.” —Would that these statements prevailed today.—Yours, etc., G. December 26, 1956.
