JUNIOR TOURNEY Two matches in the sponsored junior tournament were played at Wilding Park on Saturday. The finals of the tournament are to be played in conjunction with the Canterbury championship early next yeSr. Results of Saturday’s games were:— Mixed Doubles, quarter-finals: G. Moss and Miss K. Williams beat G. Judge and Miss B. Blackburn, 6-0, 6-5. Semi-final: V. G. Judge and Miss L. Mardon beat D. Jamieson and Miss K. Brander, 6-0, 6-1.
OTAGO WILDING SHIELD TEAM (New Zeaianq Press Association) DUNEDIN, December 23. The Otago Wilding Shield tennis team to play against Auckland at Auckland on January 18 ?nd 19 comprises M. Ellis, D. Lye. J. Montgomerie (captain), and G. Nicholson D. Shaw was not available.
