GORE CLUB

MOUNTAIN BRIGADE’S GOOD WIN PACEMAKER FIRST IN SECOND LEG (New Zealand Press Association) GORE, Dec. 23. The Gore Trotting Club’s summer meeting opened in overcast weather yesterday, and was affected by intermittent showers during the afternoon. There was a drop in the financial returns. The Mountain Brigade-Pacemaker (coupled Hudson Bay) combination paid a doubles dividend of £36 17s for £l. After the running of the Gore Trotting Cup, an inquiry was held into the form shown by Compo Jack, owned, trained and driven by P. P.
