BOWLS Perfect Conditions For Manning Cup Play

Conditions were almost perfect for the seventh round of the Christchurch Bowling Centre’s inter-club competition for the Manning Cup on Saturday. The greens were true and reasonably fast and the little wind that was blowing had no effect on the running of the bowls. There are now only three rounds left to be played before the competition is concluded and as has been in the past, it would appear that one of the smaller clubs will again be the winner. Further rounds of the Robinson Shield competition for colts fours were also played on Saturday. Results:—
