SPACE HEATING IN INDUSTRY
CHAMBER OF COMMERCE INQUIRY
Information as to what the sales of electric space heating might be if the present restrictions on the use of such heating in commercial and industrial premises were removed is being sought from its members by the Canterbury Chamber of Commerce. The chamber, which has been discussing the matter recently, asks its 1 members to estimate the number of cubic feet that would be involved in such heating if it was installed, whether space heating with a storage system for off-peak use would be acceptable, and when installation would take place if the restrictions were removed.
