The afternoon and evening branches of the St. Nicholas Church, Mothers’ Union (Barrington street) recently held a function to wind up the year’s activities. Representatives from sister branches were present. A service in the church was conducted by the Rev. R. A. Lowe, and this was followed by a social hour in the schoolroom where a programme was presented by members of the singing and drama circles of the Somerfield Townswomen’s Guild.
