N.Z. TEACHERS FOR JAVA
DEDICATION SERVICE ON SUNDAY
At a service in St. Andrew’s Church, Christchurch, tomorrow, the National Council of Churches will commission Mr and Mrs G. Brewster as educationists, representing the whole constituency of the national council, to serve in the Teachers’ Training College at Salatifia. Java. The service will be conducted by the Rev. A. W. Grundy, executive chairman of the National Council of Churches, assisted by the Bishop of Christchurch (the Rt. Rev. A. K. Warren), and the Rev. H. L. Fiebig, connexional secretary of the Methodist Church.
An address to Mr and Mrs Brewster will be given by the Rev. A. A. Brash, general secretary of the National buncil of Churches.
Mr Brewster is an M.A. with honours in economics from Canterbury University College; and Mrs Brewster is a B.A. They will spend three years in Java.
