A well-laden Christmas tree was a feature of the Christmas party held by the Maori Welfare League for members and their children. Mrs H. Cameron presided, and welcomed visitors and members. A guessing competition was won by Mrs R. Hough. Presentations were made to Mesdames J. Grant, L. Radford, and M. Wilkins for their help and for judging the competitions during the year.
