STRIP-TEASE “AN ART”
IPOH (Malaya). A strip-tease act was not indecent just because certain people found it shocking and objectionable, said a Malay Magistrate. The Magistrate. Mr Inche Abdul Kadir. said: “Strip-tease is an art. Performed by a clever actress it can be very amusing. It does not have to be obscene.’’
He acquitted three of four Chinese strip-tease artists charged with indecent behaviour. He ruled that a fourth had a case against her to answer.
