N.Z. PLANE CRASH IN MALAYA
SERVICE CONDUCTED OVER SITE (N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) KUALA LUMPUR, December 17. The Royal Air Force and civilian chaplains today conducted a service in a plane over the spot in the central Malayan jungle where a Royal New Zealand Air Force Bristol freighter crashed last week. All nine in the Bristol, including three New Zealand members of . the crew, have been listed “missing, believed killed,” because only five bodies were recovered after a search of the rugged terrain where the plane crashed. Wreaths were dropped from the R.A.F. Valetta, in which the service was conducted, into the jungle.
