HIGHER PROFIT EARNED BY CREAMOATA Creamoata, Ltd., food Processors and flour millers, Melbourne, expect an improvement in export sales in the current year, directors state in the annual report. Local sales again increased during the year to September, and now exceed £IM, but total sales fell 5J per cent. Automatic packing machinery, installed last year, is now working at capacity, and will assist greatly in the current year, directors say. Sales of flour are “intensely competitive” and prices obtained during the year were unremunerative. Stabilisation of prices has now been achieved, and this will give improved margins. The increased margin being obtained for flour, and improved prices for byproducts, are expected to provide additional income and higher profits in the current year.
