IRON AND STEEL GOODS PRICES IN BRITAIN
(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) LONDON, December 14 The maximum prices for iron and steel goods will increase by 6 per cent., according to an announcemen’ made today by the Iron and Steel Board. The increase is justified on the basis ot' increased costs of materials and labour. But the announcement also notes that British prices will still be about 8 per cent, down on those current in other parts of Europe.
