VICTORIAN DOUBLES CHAMPIONSHIP
(Rec. 11 p.m.) MELBOURNE. Dec. 12. Neil Fraser and Mai Anderson, Australia’s new doubles combination, today beat Don Candy and Bob Howe over five sets in the Victorian tennis championships. The scores were: 8-6, 8-10, 6-2, 3-6, 6-3.
Fraser and Anderson will meet Lew Hoad and Ken Rosewall in the final for the doubles title of the championships.
Hoad and Rosewall beat another new combination in Ashley Cooper and Roy Emerson, in straight sets, 6-3, 6-4, 6-3.
