CYCLING
CENTRE SUPPORTS SPORTS FEDERATION Support tor a proposal to form a sports federation was given by the Canterbury centre of the New Zealand Amateur Cycling Association when it met on Tuesday evening. The suggestion, made by the Canterbury Rowing Association through the Pioneer Sports Club, was enthusiastically received, and Messrs G. W. Clark and H. C. Poore were appointed delegates to the new association when it is formed. Messrs Clark and Poore were instructed to press for the formation of a national bodv on similar lines.
