RUBBISH FIRES
Sir,—May one congratulate the City Council on its decision to remove the restriction on lighting rubbish fires — a restriction that seemed to be widely disregarded, which is perhaps as good a reason as any other for abolishing it.—Yours, etc.. M:T. December 12. 1956.
