ROMNEY RAMS SELL WELL AT FEILDING
(New Zealand Press Association) PALMERSTON NORTH, Dec. 12. Considerable buoyancy in prices was evident when Kamano flock Romney rams were sold at Feilding yesterday on behalf of H. B. Johnston, Cheltenham. For medium to strong woolled rams the top price of 225gns was paid. The run of 140 rams averaged 46£gns. In other lines. 138 fine to medium finewoolled rams averaged 37gns, the highest price being 75gns. A run of 140 rams averaged 42gns, and fine to medium-woolled rams sold to 60gns. Buyers with limits of 30gns found it iifficult to make purchases.
