(Rec. 8 p.m.) RANGOON, Dec. 11. Rangoon University students belonging to the minority Kachin race, who have been agitating in recent weeks against the proposed handing over to China of three villages in Kachin State. North Burma, have appealed to the Chinese Prime Minister. Mr Chou En-lai. to forgo claims to these vilIn an open letter addressed to Mr Chou the students said that the proposal to cede the villages to China was as good as finalised. . Tn return. China will recognise the existing frontier with Burma. The village tracts cover 500 miles, with a population of more than 5000.
