Bride Charged With Embezzling
CLARK TOWNSHIP (N<fW Jersey), November 16.
A 35-year-old bride was in Union County gaol today on a charge of embezzling 140.000 dollars from her husband’s electronics firm over a three-year period while she was office manager. Mrs Conrad Miller has been married only two weeks. A plea of inno- * cent was entered on her behalf. . Mrs Miller’s marriage led to the discovery of the missing funds. When she married Miller she had to end her five years’ employment with the firm under a company law which prohibits executives’ wives from working there. An audit w r as necessary on her deSarture. and the loss was discovered. Ir Frank Fugle, president of the laboratories, signed the complaint charging Mrs Miller with taking the money.
