“The Press’* Special Service WELLINGTON, November 16. The weather forecast, issued at 9 p.m. ' by the Meteorological Office. Wellington, for the 27 hours after the time of issue, is:— Situation:— A shallow trough of low pressure is moving eastward over central New Zealand. There is a weak wedge of high pressure over the South Island. Forecast:— Canterbury.—Light to moderate variable winds; weather fair to cloudy and mild; outlook: some rain late on Sunday. Marlborough.—Light to moderate winds from a northerly quarter; weather cloudy, warm, and humid, with some scattered light rain; outlook: fair. Nelson.—Light to moderate west to south-west winds developing; weather cloudy and mild, with brief rain at first; outlook: fair. West Coast.—Light, variable winds; isolated showers, but weather mainly fair and mild; outlook: rain spreading from the south.
