EFFECT OF SUEZ ON MOTOR IMPORTS
INTENDING PURCHASERS SHOW • ANXIETY
One of the most frequent questions asked by people who intend to purchase a new car is the effect that events in the Middle East might have on imports of new motor vehicles. In the case of the Singer Gazelle members of the public need have no qualms whatsoever for these fine British, cars although factoryassembled in England, are shipped via the Panama Canal and deliveries will, therefore, come forward at the normal rate. Indeed, a considerable number of Singer Gazelles will be arriving before Christmas and although there is a large waiting list at the moment, it is hoped that all requirements will be filled from shipments arriving in the next few weeks. Because of the Gazelle's high standard of fine workmanship and beautiful appointments those who have inspected it have expressed pleased surprise on being informed of the price. Guesses range from One Thousand One Hundred Pounds to One Thousand Two Hundred and Fifty Pounds. In fact the Gazelle will sell for £ 1038 and represents probably the best value in a motor-car available on today's market. Those who have not already inspected this fine, completely redesigned Singer, are invited to do so without delay in the Showrooms of Tench Bros., Ltd.. 141 Cambridge terrace, Christchurch. —Advt.
