AMENDMENTS TO URBAN FENCE
The Waimari County Council has approved a block of land bounded by Styx Mill road. Main North road. Barnes road and Boundary Drain road being included in the urban fence and zoned for industrial purposes only. According to a report before the council the regional planning officer. Miss Nancy Northcroft, had forwarded a plan showing the proposed extension of the urban fence. She said that tfc? executive and technical committees had recommended to the Authority that the land be zoned for industrial purnoses only.
Miss Northcroft also informed the council that the Authority had amended the proposed urban fence to include the H. J. Strang subdivision on Avonhead road, which consisted of 38 developed sections.
