UNION CLUB OPENS SEASON WATSON CUP FOURS A record number of 11 crews contested the fours races for the Watson Cup when the Union Rowing Club opened its season on Saturday. The winning crew was B. Frazer. J. Barrett, L. Truscott, and J Cordner. Six oarsmen from other centres have joined the club, three from Timaru, two from St. George’s Club (Auckland), and one from Wales.
