Britain and the Continent were active, but with reduced support from Japan the market for better-style wools ruled from 2| to 5 per cent, below Brisbane’s closing rates at the Sydney sales today. The offering of 21,500 bales (of which 20,887 were sold) included’ a large weight of end of season oddments.
