NEW SHIPPING LINE INCORPORATED

(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 29. Manz Line (London) Ltd., has been incorporated as a private company. The shares are held equally by Ellerman and Bucknail Steamship Company. Ltd., the New Zealand Shipping Company, Ltd., and the Port Line, Ltd. The new company will co-ordinate the Manz Line joint service. and act as agents in all matters relating to this cargo service. The name of the new company, as with the joint service title, is derived from the initials of Montreal, Australia and New Zealand. Parker. Lamb.—The Parker, Lamb Timber Company, Ltd., Onehunga, is to pay an annual dividend of 8 per cent., shares to become ex dividend on July 3. Last year, and in 1954, the company paid dividends of 10 per cent.—(P.A ). Felt and Textiles,’ N.Z.—Consolidated net. profit of Felt and Textiles of New Zealand, Ltd. (excluding outside shareholders’ proportion) fell by £17,610 to £86,532 in the year to March 31. Profit was struck after taxation and depreciation. Pig Marketing Association.—The New Zealand Co-operative Pig Marketing Association. Ltd., and its subsidaries, reports the completion of “another successful year’s trading.” Some 698,000 pigs, bobby calves, and boner cattle were collected and marketed on behalf of suppliers. The company’s turnover, including that of its subsidiaries, reached a record total of £5.400.000. “The net surplus available for final distribution on all classes of livestock handled is £190.000. This sum will be in the hands of suppliers within a few weeks.” The company's national conference and annual meeting will be held in Auckland on September 26 and 27.
