YACHTING

CANTERBURY CLUB HOLDS ANNUAL MEETING The highlights of the season were the Sanders Cup contest and the Olympic s ? a fP ie tria s ,' said Ibe report presented at the annual meeting of the Canterbury Yatch and Motor-boat Club. The club desired to congratulate Graham and Peter Mander and their crews on their successes.

Towards the end of the season it had been found necesssary to buy a 20ft launch for use as a pick-up boat at a cost of £2OO. Membership had remained static, and there was a great need for an increase in junior members.
