SEA TRAINING FOR RESERVISTS

CRUISES PLANNED FROM LYTTELTON Fifty men of the Canterbury division of the Royal New Zealand Naval Volunteer Reserve will do their annual sea training during the next two weeks. Parties will embark on the corvette. H.M.N.Z.S. Kiwi, now at Lyttelton and the minesweeper Stawell. for cruises off the South Island coast.

The first party will go aboard the Kiwi at Lyttelton today. The Kiwi will sail for waters not yet decided upon tomorrow and will return to port next Friday to prepare for another week’s cruise beginning two days later.

The Stawell is expected at Lyttelton on Thursday or Friday and after two days in port will put to sea with 15 ratings. Lieutenant J. R. Ward, of Christchurch, will be in the Stawell party.
