Vital • statistics for Christchurch show that five fewer births were recorded for June, 1956. compared with June, 1955. This year 358 births were recorded The half yearly figures issued today by the Registrar of Births. Deaths and Marriages (Mr A. A. Besley) show that 45 more births have been recorded this year, and 59 fewer deaths.
