U.S. GOLFERS TO PLAY IN SYDNEY
Five top United States professional golfers will play a team of Australian professionals in Sydney early in November. Officials have not yet selected the dates and the venue for the match. ’ The five Americans are Mike Souchak, Jack Burke jnr., Jimmy Demaret, Don Fairfield and Chick Harbert. The United States Professional Golf Association’s manager, Mr R. O’Brien, will accompany them. The Americans have been invited to play in the £lO.OOO Ampol tournament at the Yarra Yarra course, Melbourne, from November 14 to November 17.
