RECORD GATES FOR FOUR MATCHES (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON. June 22. Record gate figures for all four centres had been established during the present South African tour. the chairman (Mr C. S. Hogg) reported at today’s meeting of the council of the New Zealand Rugby Union. The Auckland gate was approximately £14.§36. the Waikato gate £B9OO, and the Manawatu gate £7500. With aoproximately £4700 from the North Auckland match, the receipts from the tour to date total about £36.036. Receipts from the North-South trial matches were £20.300.
