EYRE COUNTY RATING
Sir.—l read with interest the reply, by those who initiated the petition for a rating poll, to the chairman’s criticism of their alleged misleading statements. There were a number of local ratepayers present at the meeeting in question, and I have not met one who thought he was misled. Polls are democracy at work, so the chairman of the Eyre County should accept the will of the ratepayers.—Yours, etc., RATEPAYER. June 19, 1956.
