Death Sentence on Soldier. — The death sentence on Private Richard Renn, 20, a British soldier, who killed his barracks mate with a dagger, was commuted to life imprisonment according to the “Daily Express.” Renn said during his trial that the soldier goaded him into striking the fatal blows and had bullied him because of his timidity.—Bonn.
