CANTERBURY TEAM CHOSEN
JONES CUP MATCH AGAINST OTAGO Several changes have been made in the Canterbury soccer team for the match against Otago for the Jones Cup at English Park next Saturday. The team as announced last evening by the selector. Mr Gordon Smith, is as follows:
Goalkeeper, J. Callaghan (Shamrock); right back, P. Flynn (Shamrock); left back, F. Haydon (Western), captain; right half, D. Charlton (Technical): centre half. J. Hunter (Technical); left hall, R. Durant (Shamrock); right wing, C. Steele (Western): inside right, A. Van Rooyen (Nomads); centre forward, E. Fields (Shamrock); inside left. P. Saunderson (Western); left wing, W. Logan (Western). Reserves: J. Cullen (Nomads), E. Charlton (Technical).
Following is the Otago team for the game:— J. Stephenson; R. Naus, T. Gilchrist; J. Dunbar, W. Driehuis, R. Clough; A. Canadzich, W. Williams, A. Forbes, G. Cuthill, T. McFarlane. Reserve. H. Kerr.
