U.N. Technical Aid Spending

(Rec. 9 p.m.) NEW YORK, June 10. The United Nations reported today that it spent 25.800.000 dollars on the technical assistance programme for 1955.
This compared with a previous record of 23,000.000 dollars in 1952. The 1955 programme spread advanced skills in farming, mining, health, education, and other fields to 101 countries and territories. It enabled 1203 of their citizens to study abroad and sent them 2004 foreign experts.
