NEW ZEALAND MILK BOARD MILK REGULATIONS, 1956 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to the provisions of the Milk Regulations, 1956, which came into force on the first day of June, 1956, every milk producer selling milk for human consumption (except as hereinafter mentioned) is required not later than the first day of September, 1956, to make application to the New Zealand Milk Board for a licence to sell milk. Forms of application may be obtained from the District Manager, New Zealand Milk Board, P.O. Box 820, Christchurch, and are to be completed and forwarded to that address for transmission to the Board at Wellington. This requirement does not apply to any milk producer who sells the whole of his milk (being milk intended for human consumption) to an association approved for the purposes of the National Milk Scheme, nor does it apply to any milk producer who makes sales of milk solely intended for human consumption if such sales are of not more than one gallon at any one time and are made on the dairy premises of the producer. THE REHABILITATION BOARD has agreed to make further assistance available in appropriate cases to ex-service-men now settled with rehabilitation assistance who dispose of their present properties to graded ex-servicemen still waiting for settlement, and have not been previously settled. The further assistance available is subject to certain terms and conditions; exservicemen who are already settled with Rehabilitation finance and are considering disposing of their farms, should get in touch with the District Rehabilitation Officer, or the local branch of the State Advances Corporation if they wish to take advantage of this policy.
