LINCOLN CLUB’S TOURNAMENT

A full field of 60 players competed in the Lincoln Golf Club’s annual open tournament. A heavy frost made conditions difficult, and scoring was poor in the morning four-ball round.

Results were:— Four-ball Bogey.—J. Blamires (11) and F. Cridge (14). 1 up; C. H. Johnson (2) and K. Gillatt (11), 1 up; A. A. Grimmer (11) and G. D. Macnab (13), all square. Blamires and Cridge won on a count-back.
