The weather forecast issued at 9 p.m by the Meteorological Office, Wellington for the 27 hours after the time of issue Is:— Situation.—A. complex depression covering the Tasman Sea is moving towards New Zealand. Forecast:— West Coast, Nelson, and Marlborough (except Kaikoura coast).— Fresh to strong north-east winds; overcast, with, rain; moderate temperatures. Outlook: showers. Kaikoura Coast and Coastal Canterbury.—Fresh to strong north-east winds; overcast and cool; scattered areas of light rain. Outlook: mainly fair. Inland Canterbury.—Light winds; weather cloudy and cool; some light rain later in the day. Outlook: mainly fair.
