NEW WELLINGTON CATHEDRAL
TENDERS FOR BUILDING FIRST SECTION
(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 10.
Tenders will be called tomorrow for building the first part of the Wellington Anglican Cathedral.
The Primate of New Zealand (Archbishop Owen) said the building would begin at the liturgical east end and would continue up to the first two bays of the great nave.
It was hoped the building of the first stage would be completed in two years, said Archbishop Owen.
